Aaliyah in year 4 decided to feature herself playing the piano as part of her perseverance homework. Aaliyah is showing us all here that with perseverance, plenty of practise and the determination to keep trying, you can achieve anything. It is wonderful to see you playing the piano at home Aaliyah. The Song Academy Young Songwriter 2021 Competition #SAYS2021 is open for entries until March 31st 2021.
This is a great opportunity for all of you who are musical and creative. The competition is for 8-18 year olds, so only children at Rushall in Year 3 and above and aged 8-11 are allowed to take part if they would like to.
There are some great prizes available, including a recording studio session and musical equipment worth £1,000. You will also have the chance to be heard and connect with young songwriters worldwide.

Walsall Music Hub are very pleased to announce the launch of their first online music competition for all.

There are no age restrictions or categories and the age of the student will be taken into consideration during the judging.
